Statutory Notices and Advertising

The Council has a legal obligation to publish a range of statutory notices relating to its functions and responsibilities. These include, but are not limited to: • Traffic Regulation Orders. • Planning Notices. • General Public Notices. • Other legally required public advertisements. In addition to these statutory requirements, the Council regularly places a variety of display advertising, including: • Recruitment advertisements. • Choice Based Lettings advertisements. • Service promotion campaigns. • Public consultations. • Community and event information. The Council currently requires publication services that provide: • Borough-wide coverage. • Reliable and auditable distribution. • Digital accessibility. • Alternative communication formats where required. • Strong customer service and contract management. The Council is particularly interested in understanding how suppliers can support: • Modern publishing solutions. • Changing resident media consumption habits. • Increased digital engagement. • Environmental sustainability. • Improved accessibility. • Delivery of social value outcomes.
