Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust (“the Trust”) is seeking to procure a provider for the provision of equipping consultancy services in connection with the New Frimley Park Hospital programme (Ref C476248). The procurement is for a comprehensive equipping advisory service covering RIBA Stage 2 (Concept Design) and RIBA Stage 3 (Spatial Coordination), with an option to extend into RIBA Stage 4. The service will support the development of the Outline Business Case. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the development of the Equipping Strategy and Equipment Governance Framework, aligned to New Hospital Programme and Hospital 2.0 guidance. It also covers equipment categorisation (Group 1, 2 and 3) in line with the NHP categorisation strategy, and the development and management of the Master Equipment Schedule and departmental equipment schedules. The provider will lead stakeholder engagement and requirements capture with clinical, operational, estates, digital, clinical engineering and finance teams. The scope further includes Room Data Sheet validation, design integration and technical assurance, including BIM alignment, together with medical equipment and digital integration covering interoperability, asset tracking and digital asset requirements. The provider will deliver equipment cost planning, including capital, lifecycle and procurement assumptions and inputs to the Outline Business Case. It will also develop the equipment procurement strategy, logistics, commissioning and operational readiness planning, and manage the Equipping Risk Register. An optional asset audit of existing equipment may be instructed by the Trust. The appointed provider will be expected to deliver robust, evidence-led equipping outputs that are fully integrated with the developing design. They will work as part of an integrated professional team and co-ordinate with the wider design, cost and programme workstreams. The Trust places a strong emphasis on clinical engagement, data accuracy and change control, value for money and sustainability. The contract duration under this notice is for the provision of the equipping consultancy services only. It does not represent or imply any timeframe for completion of the wider New Frimley Park Hospital programme. This procurement is being conducted as an open procedure under the Procurement Act 2023. Interested suppliers must submit a full tender by the deadline stated in the tender documents, including responses to the conditions of participation, which are assessed on a pass/fail basis.
Yorkshire Water Services Limited is undertaking preliminary market engagement ahead of a proposed procurement for the CM3640 Networks Emergency & Resilience Framework. We are seeking to broaden our supply chain and work collaboratively with suppliers to strengthen wastewater delivery capacity. We would like to understand what would enable suppliers to work with us, provide reliable resources and build additional capacity. We particularly welcome interest from organisations not currently working directly with Yorkshire Water, including specialist contractors and SMEs. Suppliers may express interest in individual activities or end-to-end delivery. We are open to exploring alternative delivery solutions, including separating activities within end-to-end delivery to enable more specialist suppliers to partner with us. The proposed framework will supplement existing contractual arrangements, supporting proactive and reactive work, including emergency response, through four proposed activity-based lots. The descriptions below are indicative and non-exhaustive. They outline the activities currently envisaged for each lot and do not represent a finalised scope: Lot 1 — Civils support: Excavation, sewer repairs and lining, ironworks, manhole refurbishment, backfilling and reinstatement. Lot 2 — Non-civils support: Sewer jetting and cleansing, recycler services, CCTV surveys and associated operational labour. Lot 3 — Process and pumping: Rising main repairs and pumping support, repairs after rising main, temporary overpumping, testing, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) support, and reporting. Lot 4 — Mitigation and tankering: Wastewater tankering and temporary mitigation measures supporting incident response and operational continuity. The scope, activities and interfaces between lots will be refined through market engagement and development of the procurement. Activities may be added, amended or allocated differently between lots. Through this engagement, we wish to explore: Supplier capability, geographical coverage and additional resource availability alongside existing commitments. Mobilisation times, emergency response capability and opportunities to develop capacity. Direct delivery, subcontracting and partnership models. Commercial arrangements, planned work packages and advance notice that could improve resource availability and pricing. Barriers to participation, including whether requirements for end-to-end delivery could limit specialist supplier involvement, and how alternative delivery arrangements could enable suppliers to participate and commit resources. Interested suppliers are invited to help shape the scope and develop a practical delivery approach. Feedback will inform the detailed requirements and procurement approach. This notice is for preliminary market engagement. Participation does not guarantee an invitation or appointment under any future procurement, and non-participation will not prevent suppliers from responding to a subsequent tender. Yorkshire Water has not committed to proceeding with the procurement. The final scope, estimated value, duration and procurement approach remain subject to confirmation.
