Preliminary Maret Engagement notice for an Asset Management System at The Royal Parks
The Royal Parks Ltd
Scope as published
Preliminary Maret Engagement notice for an Asset Management System at The Royal Parks Background and objectives The Royal Parks is developing Project Park View, a programme to establish a modern, integrated approach to managing our physical and operational assets. Currently, asset information and associated processes are managed through a combination of existing systems, datasets and operational practices. This creates challenges in maintaining consistent asset information, supporting effective asset lifecycle management and providing a consolidated view of assets across the organisation. We aim to introduce an Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) that will: Establish a consistent and reliable asset register, supported by a common asset classification and hierarchies. Improve visibility of asset location, condition, maintenance requirements and lifecycle information. Support efficient asset inspections, maintenance and operational workflows. Enable effective integration with geographic information systems, specifically Esri ArcGIS Online. Improve reporting, analysis and evidence-based decision-making. Provide a scalable platform capable of supporting additional asset management capabilities over time. Our preference is to adopt an established, configurable solution that minimises bespoke development and supports long-term sustainability. Anticipated scope and approach The initial phase is expected to establish the core asset management platform.
