4.1. The requirements of the agreement are as follows: Bangor University (BU) and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) are working in partnership to deliver the North Wales Medical School (NWMS), an established Welsh Government-funded programme designed to increase medical education and training capacity across North Wales. The works comprise of the alterations and adaptations of the existing building to form a new medical training centre. All activities must be planned for a live hospital environment, coordinating outages and access with Estates/ICT, and must comply with site rules, CDM, and applicable NHS W /BCUHB technical standards. The proposed works at Wrexham Medical Institute comprise the upgrade and refurbishment of existing education facilities to improve their functionality and suitability for the delivery of the NWMS programme. The works include: • Upgrade of Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) facilities, including new audio-visual equipment and associated software. • Refurbishment of the library space, including the provision of new furniture. • Upgrade of digital signage, branding and wayfinding. • Light refurbishment and upgrade of teaching rooms, including new or upgraded furniture. The works will improve the existing education environment and provide enhanced facilities to support the delivery of medical education and training at WMI. UKRI wishes to contract a supplier for a DFT programme monitoring and evaluation. Currently 3 programmes are in scope with a contract duration of 4 years and an estimated value of £181,000.00 excluding VAT. However there is a potential for more programmes to be added as options within the 4 years duration at an additional estimated value of £150,000.00 excluding VAT.

INTRODUCTION Mid Ulster District Council is preparing a procurement for the renewal, supply, management and optimisation of its Microsoft enterprise licensing, associated CSP services and specialist Microsoft expertise. This pre-market engagement exercise will help the Council understand available market models, risks, pricing approaches, support arrangements and proportionate requirements before any formal procurement is issued. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THIS PRE-MARKET ENGAGEMENT EXERCISE The objectives are to confirm market interest, test the most suitable agreement route and service model, identify risks or dependencies, understand pricing and governance options, and inform the Council's procurement strategy. This is not a procurement process and responses will not be evaluated as part of any future tender. BACKGROUND INFORMATION The Council's Microsoft estate includes Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Teams, Power Platform, Azure, server licensing and associated Software Assurance requirements. Market input is sought on CSP, Enterprise Agreement or other Microsoft agreement routes, billing options, licence optimisation, tenant support, adoption, security and compliance support, escalation and access to qualified Microsoft expertise. STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS MUDC wishes to establish a contract with a suitably experienced Microsoft CSP partner to provide: • licensing renewal, supply and management through CSP, Enterprise Agreement or another suitable route; • licence optimisation, proof of licence, inventory records, renewal tracking and compliance reporting; • Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Teams, Power Platform, security, compliance, identity, endpoint and server licensing expertise; • support for billing, subscription changes, incidents, Microsoft escalation, account governance and roadmap advice; The Council also wishes to understand transparent pricing structures, including margins, discounts, billing models, separate professional services rates and how best to separate user subscriptions, device subscriptions, Azure consumption, server licensing, trial/free SKUs and advisory services. Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), as the contracting authority for Greater Manchester Police, are looking for a supplier who can provide a managed service across its on-premise and cloud hosted infrastructure. GMP operate a mixed estate due to the nature of some of the legacy systems not necessarily being cloud native or the support requirements are 24x7 at a 99.99999% availability level. Our physical datacentres are currently in two locations, Claytonbrook in Manchester and Corsham in Bristol. The cloud based environment is a private Azure cloud service. Our on-premise server estate is managed by Telefonica and our cloud service by ANS. Our existing service management tool is Alemba.
