The Republic of Mozambique has received grant financing (the "Grant") from the World Bank toward the cost of the Mozambique Safer Roads for Socio-Economic Integration Program Phase 1 (P174639) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Rehabilitation of N1 Corridor, Chimuara - Nicoadala, Lot 1 (0 - 88km) in Zambézia Province. 2. The Administração Nacional de Estradas, Instituto Público (ANE, IP), the Executing Agency of the Project, now invites sealed Proposals from eligible Proposers for Rehabilitation of N1 Corridor, Chimuara - Nicoadala, Lot 1 (0 - Km 88) in Zambézia Province having a period of 2 Years (24 months) Design and Construction, 1 Year Defects Notification Period and 3 Years Warranty Period. 3. The procurement will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Proposals (RFP) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, Seventh Edition, September 2025 (Procurement Regulations") and is open to all eligible Proposers as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Capable and interested eligible Proposers may obtain further information from the Administração Nacional de Estradas, Instituto Público (ANE, IP) and inspect the RFP Document during office hours from 07:30 to 15:30 at the address given below. 5. The RFP Document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Proposers upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MZN 6,500.00 (Six Thousand and Five Hundred Meticais) or USD 100 (Hundred United States Dollars). 6. The method of payment will be a direct deposit to the account number indicated below. A hard copy of the documents will be provided upon presentation of proof of payment at the address indicated below. At the Proposer's request, an electronic copy may be provided; however, in case of discrepancy between the two documents, the hard copy prevails. The Proposal, both the Technical Part and the Financial Part, must be delivered to the address below on or before December 09, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (local time).
