ocds-h6vhtk-059831We operate a network of around 300 automatic weather stations (AWS), mostly in the UK, but also a small number overseas. The weather observation data collected at these sites is collated on a logger at site and then communicated every minute to our central cloud based system in real time. Some sites have mains power, some operate on a 50W solar panel. The majority of sites have 4G connectivity, but there are a subset that only have 2G connectivity at present. We are looking for a supplier to provide a communications solution to allow for the real time transfer of our land surface observation data to our central cloud based collection system every minute in real time.

The Client is currently considering a Competitive Flexible Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023.
