Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) seeks to appoint competent specialist mechanical, commercial gas and boiler and mechanical contractors to undertake planned minor works, condition-led remedial works, lifecycle replacements, upgrades and new installations across the Trust estate in the South East. This arrangement is separate and distinct from reactive maintenance and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). Reactive response and PPM remain the responsibility of the Trust appointed Hard FM contractor, unless the Trust determines otherwise through its governance and instruction process. The purpose of this arrangement is to provide the Trust with direct access to specialist contractors for non-reactive boiler and associated mechanical services works arising from inspections, insurance inspections, statutory examinations, PPM findings, compliance inspections, water safety reviews, energy reviews, lifecycle assessments, service change requirements, risk reviews or assurance concerns. Places for People Group Limited (PfP) is establishing a Major Works Framework for the delivery of planned investment works across its housing portfolio. The works will principally comprise the replacement, renewal, installation, repair and associated works relating to: windows, external doors and roofline components; internal components including kitchens, bathrooms and electrical rewires; and boilers and heating systems.
