The Kaduna State Government through the Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the cost of livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contracts for the: Lot 1: C onstruction and Remodeling of key Livestock Markets at Mariri, Makarfi, Anchau and Kafanchan International Pig Market, Lot 2: Construction of live birds' market, Poultry Slaughter house and Cold Chain Facility in Kaduna Central Market Lot 3: Modification of slaughter slabs at Sabon Tasha, Danmagaji, Zaria City, and Ikara. Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Bids (RFB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines for Procurement of Civil Works under IBRD Loans and IDA Credit s and is open to all bidders from eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES) Project at the address given below from 10.00hrs to 16.00hrs, Monday to Friday. Qualification's requirements include: Average annual financial capacity of the last 3 years Experience as contractor carrying out at least two projects of similar nature and complexity over the last 3 years (to comply with this requirement, the work cited should be at least 90% complete) Availability of essential equipment (own, lease, hire, etc) as listed in the Bidding Data Sheet. Contract Manager with 15 years' experience in construction works of an equivalent nature and volume including not less than 10 years as Contract Manager and; All Bids must be accompanied by a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration, a comprehensive and concise Environmental and Social Management Strategies and Implementation Plans (ES-MSIP) and shall submit the Code of Conduct that will apply to the Contractor's employees and subcontractors as required by ITB 11.1 (h) of the Bid Data Sheet . A complete set of Bidding Document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) per lot . The method of payment will be by bank draft in favor of Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project. The document will be collected by bidder's representative on request.
