The Provision of Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Services

The Authority invites response to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) from suitably qualified suppliers ("Suppliers") for the provision of Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Services. The Authority does not have its own repair facility and therefore the services under this agreement will include all aspects of both planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs. This includes MOTs, Servicing and Bodywork Repairs (excluding very minor bodywork repairs/dents and scratches). The Authority currently has a fleet of 160 vehicles which comprises of a variety of cars, light commercial, minibuses and large goods vehicles, details of the manufacturers and models can be found in the Specification Documents. The numbers of Authority fleet vehicles may be subject to change as vehicles are added to or removed from the Authority's fleet list. This opportunity is divided into two lots. A "lot" is defined as a grouping of similar services that a single procurement process has been split into single lots. Please see the details below: LOT 1 - MOTS, SERVICING, AND GENERAL MECHANICAL REPAIRS This lot is to complete MOT, servicing and maintenance works for Authorities vehicles and provide information on roadworthiness of vehicles. Vehicles may be booked in on an ad hoc basis for non-scheduled repairs or break downs in addition to the scheduled bookings. The supplier also needs to be able to recover vehicles that cannot be driven to site. LOT 2 - BODYWORK REPAIRS This lot is for bodywork and accidental/non-accidental damage repairs to ensure the vehicles safe and road legal. Work will be on an ad hoc basis. Potential Suppliers should note that no guarantee can be given with regard to the volume or value of work under either of the lots.

GMCA 2201 NW Regional Children’s Services Contract

North West Association of Directors of Children’s Services (NWADCS), representing the 24 North West local authorities, have a long track record of collaborative contracting for childrens services. Under new arrangements hosted by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) NWADCS are introducing a new contract to allow the North West authorities a route to purchase services for children including; alternative provision, family assessment centres, foster care, residential, SEND schools and colleges, and supported accommodation.
