Interim Capital Programme

The Interim Capital Programme covers the following works: The Programme aims to address stock condition survey data, ongoing maintenance records and resident feedback to support a program of works to meet current housing standards, i.e. Decent Homes, and to reduce the ongoing burden on responsive repair services. These Works will mitigate immediate risks within and prevent further deterioration to Sandwell MBC properties on a priority basis dependent on urgency, health and safety implications and repeated reactive repairs. The Programme will include an Improvement, Retrofit and Rewires Programme, encompassing component replacement works, electrical works, retrofit and energy efficiency works and minor structural repairs required in connection with component replacements; specifically: • Component Replacement Works: • Kitchen replacements • Bathroom replacements • Window replacements • External door replacements • Roof renewals and associated works • Plastering works (including full room or whole-area plaster renewals) • Flooring renewals • Minor structural works required in connection with the Works. • Electrical Works: • Full or partial rewires • Consumer Unit replacements • Earthing and bonding upgrades • Renewal of associated electrical accessories where required • Smoke and heat alarm upgrades where required to meet current standards • Testing, inspection and certification on completion, with supporting documentation • Retrofit and Energy Efficiency Works: • Fabric improvements including insulation measures (subject to property suitability) • Ventilation improvements required to support fabric upgrades and indoor air quality • Draught proofing and associated making good works • Heating controls and energy efficiency enhancements • Associated decorations and reinstatement works. The Value for this Contract (including VAT) is £9,600,000.00 per annum over a period of 2 (two) years – (total Contract Value £19,200,000.00). The contract period will be for 2 years, commencing 01 February 2027 to 31 January 2029. To provide effective management and supervision of subcontractors undertaking Facilities Management and associated works, ensuring compliance with all site safety, security, and operational requirements. To maintain a professional and competent Facilities Management team that consistently delivers NWS requirements, supports business continuity, and promotes continuous improvement across all FM service areas. To contribute to the safe, secure, and efficient operation of the LLWR site through proactive asset management, regulatory compliance, and high standards of service delivery.

Qualified Person Service for Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP)

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide Qualified Person services in support of its portfolio of Investigational Medicinal Product manufacturing projects. The proposed service may include: reviewing and providing regulatory and quality input into selected regulatory submissions; advising on applicable regulatory, Good Manufacturing Practice and quality-compliance requirements for biological and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product manufacturing projects; providing regulatory, GMP and quality input into the design and development of selected manufacturing processes and facilities; reviewing assigned batches and, where all applicable legal, regulatory, GMP, Clinical Trial Authorisation, Product Specification File and NHSBT quality-system requirements have been met, certifying batches for use in approved clinical trials; mentoring selected NHSBT staff undertaking the process of obtaining Qualified Person registration; and providing associated professional, regulatory and quality advice as required. Each Qualified Person proposed by the supplier will be expected to hold and maintain the qualifications, professional eligibility and regulatory status required to act as a Qualified Person for Investigational Medicinal Products in the UK. Proposed personnel should have recent and demonstrable experience of acting as a named Qualified Person on a UK Manufacturing and Import Authorisation for Investigational Medicinal Products, MIA(IMP), and of certifying IMP batches. Experience relating to biological, biotechnology, cell therapy and gene therapy medicinal products may also be required. The current anticipated level of support is approximately 24 to 48 days per year, with at least 50% of the support delivered on NHSBT premises and the remaining support delivered remotely, subject to agreement. The scope and requirements described in this notice are indicative and may be refined following preliminary market engagement.

Public Health Pharmacy Pseudo-Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) Round 9

This notice is in relation to the publish of the onboarding round of the Public Health Pharmacy Pseudo-Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) (Round 9). The service specification set out London Borough of Newham's (LBN) requirements in respect of the provision of public health smoking cessation, sexual health (condom provision and STI screening), needle exchange, naloxone provision and supervised consumption services. Over the life of the Pseudo- Dynamic Purchasing System and in response to identified need and/or policy developments, the Council - in consultation with providers - may add services to the scope of this service specification or amend existing services therein. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and tariffs will be reviewed, and potentially amended, by commissioners on an annual basis.
