This Qualifying Utilities Dynamic Market (QUDM) is for the delivery of Property Refurbishment, Property Construction and Property Maintenance (PRCM) services across National Grid's operational, corporate and specialist estate portfolio throughout England and Wales. The QUDM is intended to establish a qualified supplier marketplace capable of supporting the delivery of refurbishment, construction, maintenance, compliance, wellbeing and estate improvement projects across a diverse range of National Grid properties, including but not limited to offices, operational sites, stores, depots, workshops, welfare facilities, training centres, control facilities, substation ancillary buildings and other operational estate infrastructure. In addition to the requirements of National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET), National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) and National Grid Ventures (NGV), the Contracting Authority reserves the right for other National Grid group companies to procure works and services through this QUDM. No minimum volume of work is guaranteed in respect of such requirements. Once established, this QUDM may be used to procure and establish the PRCM Framework, which will serve as National Grid's principal route to market for property refurbishment, construction and maintenance services.

Corby Closed Landfill is located on the northern outskirts of Corby. The landfill covers approximately thirteen (13) hectares. The volume of waste deposited into the site is unknown but is estimated to be in the order of 1.4Mm3 to a depth of around sixteen (16) metres. The buried waste produces landfill gas and leachate. The site has no form of impermeable containment and as such is considered to be a "dilute and disperse" site. The Council has a statutory duty under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to manage the risks posed by the gas and leachate emissions produced on site. The procurement of the Closed Landfill Site Operations and Maintenance will enable the Council to continue to fulfil its statutory obligations under Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and remain compliant with the site's Environmental Permit and Trade Effluent Consent.
