Request for Quotations Goods Country: Ukraine Name of Project: Lifting Education Access and Resilience in Times of Need in Ukraine Program (LEARN) Grant No.: TF0C5794 Name of the Procurement: Procurement of school furniture RFQ Reference No.: LEARN-1.2-EQUIP-01 1. Ukraine received the Grant No. TF0C5794 from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in US dollars to finance the Lifting Education Access and Resilience in Times of Need in Ukraine Program and intends to use part of the funds to make payments under the contracts resulting from procurement No. LEARN-1.2-EQUIP-01 "Procurement of school furniture". 2. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine invites eligible suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of school furniture to general secondary education institutions, including the following: student desks (single-seat, double-seat and mobile) and chairs; teacher desks, including mobile desks, teacher chairs and armchairs; laboratory chairs (stools), chairs with folding writing tablets and other chairs; demonstration tables, computer desks, robotics tables and tables / cabinets with sinks; desks and chairs for inclusive education; multipurpose storage wall units and storage wall units for robotics and STEM classrooms; multipurpose lockers and lockers for robotics and STEM classrooms. More detailed information is provided in the Technical Specification. The expected duration of the supply of goods is 120 (one hundred twenty) days from the date of signing the contract. 3. The procurement comprises two lots: Lot 1. LEARN-1.2-EQUIP-01/L1 "Procurement of tables, student chairs and cabinet furniture"; Lot 2. LEARN-1.2-EQUIP-01/L2 "Procurement of chairs, armchairs and laboratory stools". Suppliers may submit quotations for one or more lots, as further specified in the Request for Quotations. 4. The World Bank requires compliance with the Bank's Anti-Corruption Guidelines and its applicable sanctions policies and procedures, as outlined in the World Bank Group Sanctions Framework. In further compliance with this policy, Bidders shall permit and require their agents (whether declared or not), subcontractors, sub-consultants, service providers, suppliers and personnel to permit the Bank to inspect all invoices, records and other documents relating to the Request for Quotations and execution of the contract (in case of award), as well as for their verification by auditors appointed by the Bank. 5. Suppliers shall submit at least the following additional documents as part of their quotations: Evidence of authorization to offer and supply the proposed Goods, issued by the Manufacturer or an entity in the official supply chain, together with supporting supply chain documentation where required under the RFQ (for Suppliers that are not manufacturers of the proposed Goods); Information on the local authorized service department/company. More detailed information is given in the Request for Quotations. 6. Procurement will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Quotations (RFQ), in accordance with the applicable World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers. The RFQ documents have been issued in Ukrainian only. No English version of the RFQ documents has been issued.
