The successful suppliers will act as an extension to the internal Life Sciences Hub Wales Funding Support team, providing additional support, capacity, resilience and expertise when required. It is likely that support via the framework will only be required during periods where internal Life Sciences Hub Wales resource / capacity is limited, such as during peak delivery or as a result of absence (as an example). The framework suppliers will be considered as additional resource to be called upon to alleviate pressure and enable continued delivery during these periods. This is the system that manages and facilitates the logistics of physical cash across its 11,500+ branches and other customers across the UK. S E R V I C E S U M M A R Y A highly specialised, business-critical cash management system used in POL's cash centres and Cash & Valuables in Transit (CViT) depots (as opposed to POL branches) supporting the movement, processing, reconciliation, control and reporting of cash and valuables across POL's national supply chain. Functions of the system may also include demand planning and cash forecasting, customer order management and fulfilment, end-to-end consignment and chain-of-custody tracking, route planning and optimisation, real-time operational visibility, exception and investigation management, multi-currency cash processing, inventory forecasting and optimisation, digital proof of collection and delivery, advanced reporting and self-service analytics, audit and regulatory compliance, master data management, and operational performance monitoring either delivered directly, or through integrations to POL strategic systems. The solution is expected to support configurable workflows, automation, predictive analytics, and the efficient management of cash, valuables, assets and transport operations across the end-to-end supply chain. The solution must support POL's independent network of customers, including POL Branches and banking hubs. The Council requires the provision of Homecare Services for Adult Social Care and Children and Young People with Disabilities. Ofwat is procuring an Independent Monitor (IM) to provide independent monitoring, analysis and reporting in relation to Thames Water's turnaround programme, financial resilience and compliance with undertakings accepted by Ofwat following a breach of licence condition P26. The IM will support Ofwat's Turnaround Oversight Regime by monitoring and assessing Thames Water's progress in delivering its turnaround plan and complying with regulatory commitments. The IM will provide independent oversight of governance, operational performance, financial resilience, transformation activities and delivery confidence, and identify and report material risks, issues and emerging concerns to Ofwat. The IM will undertake monitoring and reporting services across a broad range of functions, including operational performance, financial resilience, governance, transformation programmes, regulatory submissions, capital delivery and asset management. The IM will report regularly to Ofwat and provide independent evidence and analysis to support regulatory oversight and decision-making. The role is expected to operate in a dynamic and evolving environment. The nature, scope and intensity of the IM's activities may increase or decrease during the contract term to reflect Thames Water's progress, risk profile, recapitalisation activities, regulatory developments and wider turnaround programme. The contract has therefore been designed to support a scalable and proportionate monitoring approach. The IM will be appointed by Ofwat, will act independently of Thames Water, and will provide recommendations and advice to Ofwat only.
