The University is seeking proposals from suitably qualified lenders for the provision of loan finance services to refinance its existing borrowing arrangements and support its long-term financial strategy.
For this project We have 6 modules. Each module is made up of 3 stages. These stages are (1) an x-y stage, (2) a tilt goniometric stage, and (3) rotational stage. The links to these stages and the control box can be seen in the attached supporting document. The difference between our stages and the COTS stages is that each stage has a different motor to the COTS item (integrated 485 bus-type closed-loop stepper driver, IRS42E-K02, manual available). All modules are controlled via a single controller box. The controller box has power and user instructions from control software (via RS232 to USB cable) as inputs and has six output cables, each connected to one of the modules (RS232 to RS232). Each output cable is limited to 2m length. The cable from the controller connects to the bottom most stage of the module, that is the x-stage. The x-stage is then connected to the y-stage via a RS232 cable. The y-stage is connected to the goniometric stage via a RS232 cable. Finally, the goniometric stage is connected to the rotational stage via a RS232 cable. In this way, a controller with 6 outputs controls 6x4=24 motors. This setup is shown in the diagram and a picture of a single module is also provided on the attached supporting document. The control signal is sent via the control box to the desired module. If the control signal is not for the x-stage, the control signal is passed up the chain, and so on. We need the control software to interface with our existing hardware to control the 6 modules. The solution could interface with the existing control box, or alternatively provide a new controller to interface with the 6 modules. The requirements above are for the software/control of the 6 modules.

NHS Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics function intends to undertake a Procurement Act 2023 tender exercise for the supply of HLA sequencing systems. Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics (H&I) is a strategic business function of NHSBT, providing testing and support in transplantation, specialised transfusion including the supply of selected blood products, immunogenetics, platelet and granulocyte immunology. Services are supplied through a national network of six laboratories across England. Building on our strengths as a national provider, NHSBT’s strategic aim is for its diagnostic services to become the preferred provider and supplier of choice for these services in the NHS in England. We would like to work with future suppliers to realise this ambition and to perform HLA typing in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner to meet the demands and expectations of our customers and the patients we serve. Prior to commencing a formal procurement process and to help inform our strategy, NHSBT is seeking to engage with suppliers of commercially available HLA sequencing systems. Our current contract ends in August 2028 and NHSBT would like to improve our knowledge of all current and future systems available in the marketplace. This will aid identification of opportunities and gauge market interest in this field. We require HLA typing systems to cover the following: · Allelic Test Kits SHOULD detect and uniquely identify all alleles of the HLA-A, B, C, DRB1, DRB3/4/5, DQA1, DQB1, DPA1 and DPB1 loci at the level of resolution that additionally defines the third field according to WHO nomenclature by at least resolving all ambiguities resulting from: (1) polymorphisms located within the exons coding for HLA class I and class II proteins and (2) that encompass a null allele wherever the polymorphism is located. · The optimal solution SHOULD define fourth field level resolution. · We are not restricting which sequencing platform the allelic test kits are compatible with, however HLA typing should be completed within 72 hours of the start of the process. NB: Procurement of the above systems may be managed by individual tenders. It is NHSBT's intention to hold pre-procurement engagement meetings the week of 21OCT2026 to 23OCT2026 these will be held remotely, the date to be confirmed. To enable NHSBT to finalise arrangements (e.g. send meeting details and agree time slots) for the supplier engagement meetings, interested organisations are required to send an expression of interest via email to [email protected] by no later than 17:00 hrs (GMT) on 09OCT2026. University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) is commencing a programme of Pre- Market Engagement in relation to the future operation of a new Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) located at Leicester Royal Infirmary (LRI). UHL is currently undertaking a significant programme of investment in its urgent and emergency care estate, including the development of a new purpose-built UTC at Leicester Royal Infirmary. The facility is expected to become operational in late 2027 and will form an important component of the Trust's wider urgent and emergency care strategy. The proposed UTC will provide assessment and treatment for patients presenting with minor illness and injury and will work alongside existing urgent and emergency care services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. As part of our planning process, UHL is currently undertaking an options appraisal to determine the most appropriate operating model for the future service. One of the options under consideration is the engagement of an external provider to support delivery of elements of the service. Before any decisions are made, the Trust wishes to engage openly with the market to better understand provider perspectives, test the developing service specification, and obtain indicative cost information to inform our evaluation.
Ladygrove Park is a well-used public open space located within the Ladygrove area of Didcot, comprising approximately 29 acres of accessible green space. The park provides a range of recreational facilities for residents and visitors, including: • Extensive public open grassed areas • Outdoor sports facilities The project seeks to maximise the use of currently underutilised landscaped mounds within the play area to create an engaging, adventurous and inclusive play environment for children, primarily aimed at those aged between 5 and 11 years. Tenderers are encouraged to develop innovative design proposals that incorporate these existing landforms and create a cohesive play experience by linking the mounds where appropriate. As part of the overall design, contractors should consider the relocation of the existing multi-play unit to higher ground within the play area. The current location is susceptible to seasonal flooding during the winter months, and proposals should demonstrate how relocating this equipment could improve its long-term usability and accessibility. The Council invites tenderers to submit their own design concepts, making imaginative use of features such as, but not limited to: • Tunnels • Bridges • Slides • Climbing elements • Accessible and inclusive play features • Natural play opportunities The proposed design should complement the existing playground while significantly enhancing the quality, variety and accessibility of the play experience. The Council wishes to create an attractive destination that encourages active, imaginative and inclusive play, supporting the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children and young people. The existing play equipment is over 25 years old and, whilst remaining serviceable, the Council is seeking to modernise the play provision to better meet the needs of the local community and to provide facilities comparable in quality to those available at Edmonds Park. The available project budget is currently £40,000. The Council is actively seeking additional external funding and, if successful, anticipates increasing the total project value to approximately £100,000. Subject to successful funding, the anticipated allocation is: • Approximately £80,000 for the design, supply and installation of new play equipment. • Approximately £20,000 for the relocation of the existing multi-play unit and the possible installation of an accessible see-saw, utilising the existing accessible infrastructure where appropriate. Tenderers should therefore identify which elements of their proposal could be delivered within the confirmed budget and which additional enhancements could be incorporated should further funding become available. This project needs to ensure full compliance with all Playground Regulations - specifically EN1176, and BS7188 and EN1177 for surfacing. Didcot Town Council prefer to work with companies who sources their equipment from the United Kingdom, so there are less issues with delays for replacement parts. • A dedicated children's play area Within the existing playground are two landscaped mounds that are currently underutilised and do not accommodate any play features. As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing community recreation and play opportunities, Didcot Town Council's Environment & Climate Committee has identified these mounds as suitable locations for additional play equipment. The Council is therefore seeking proposals for the design, supply and installation of play equipment that makes effective use of these features, enhances the existing play provision, and provides engaging, inclusive and high-quality play opportunities for children and young people.
The National Emergency Laparotomy Audit (NELA) will be for NHS-funded care in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Jersey (inclusion of other devolved nations/Crown dependencies is yet to be determined and will be detailed within the tender documentation). The initial contract is anticipated to be for a period of 3 years, at a maximum total budget of up to £ 951,168.00 excl VAT and £1,141,401.00 with VAT. Bids exceeding this limit will be rejected. Due to the unknowns in advance of holding the premarket engagement session, it is currently expected that the extension value will be a 2-year pro rata of the core 3-year funding, estimated at £634,112.00 excluding VAT. There is potential to include other Devolved Nations and/or Crown Dependencies, and aspirational measures (which will be defined in the service specification). The role of a national clinical audit is to stimulate healthcare improvement through the provision of timely and high-quality information on the organisation, delivery and outcomes of healthcare, together with tools and support to enable healthcare providers and other audiences to make best use of this information. Outcomes are benchmarked against national guidance and standards e.g. quality standards from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), and those from other established professional and patient sources. Successful national audits are those where the individuals providing the data can also improve the system, and there is a shared understanding of what good care looks like. The National Emergency Laparotomy Audit (NELA) was established in 2011 and has been delivered by the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) - https://www.nela.org.uk/ The overarching aim of this audit is to stimulate improvements in care for patients undergoing and not undergoing emergency laparotomy through the provision of high-quality comparative data from all providers of emergency laparotomy by measuring and reporting variations in quality of care and patient outcomes. During this contract period, the successful tenderer will need to build on the achievements of the audit to date and enhance the ability for the audit to be used for healthcare improvement by engaging with clinicians, patients and commissioners (both local and national) and regional networks. Successful national audits are those where the individuals providing the data are also in a position to improve the system, and where there is a shared understanding of what good care looks like. Data is most useful locally for healthcare improvement when its provision to clinical teams is timely, the data is refreshed regularly, and appropriate tools, support and guidance accompany the data outputs. The intent is for all of these features to be implemented and improved during the period of this future contract. Develop a robust, high-quality audit designed around key quality metrics likely to best support local and national quality improvement Detect, describe and help reduce unwarranted clinical variation by systematically benchmarking performance, identifying outliers, and supporting services to understand variation in outcomes, processes and experience Achieve, articulate and maintain close alignment with relevant NICE national guidance and quality standards throughout the audit, as appropriate Enable healthcare quality improvements through the provision of timely, high-quality data that compares providers of healthcare, and comprises an integrated mixture of named Trust or Health Board, Integrated Care System (ICS), multi-disciplinary team, possibly consultant or clinical team level and other levels of reporting Engage patients, carers and the public in a meaningful way, achieving a strong patient voice which informs and contributes to the design, functioning, outputs and direction of the audit Consider the value and feasibility of linking data at an individual patient level to other relevant national datasets either from the outset or in the future,…

East Sussex Fire Authority (ESFA) on behalf of East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service require to replace their Live Fire Training Building situated on our Training Centre site in Maresfield East Sussex. This exercise is being created to replace the previous exercise called Live Fire Training Building (but with the same reference number) as we ran into portal constraints that blocked this being an open tender open to all new interested parties. To do so we had to cease the previous exercise and commence a new one. Our intention is to replace essentially what we have now on a like for like basis but taking into account some design changes identified that will improve both flexibility in use and reduce the impact we have on the environment. We have a fairly clear idea of what we want, and that we can afford it, and believe we have a basic understanding of who might be able to supply what we require in a fairly small niche market. However, the aim of this document is to allow the market to confirm, or otherwise, our assumptions and for us to gather some information that will allow us to prepare an equitable tender that any capable supplier could bid for. As well as establishing capable suppliers we are very keen to establish whether this can be achieved as a single supplier integrated project, or not. Whilst we may consider alternative innovative approaches, we believe that a steel framed metal structure or container-based solution is likely to be all that we can afford and of which, we have a lot of experience being the basis of the current unit. This Tender will be managed electronically via the In-Tend Portal. It can be reached via: https://sell2.in-tend.co.uk/blpd/home Contractors need to be registered to use the portal and registered against us as a Contracting Entity, but registration is free and further information on how this is achieved, can be found at: https://sell2.in-tend.co.uk/blpd/register If you are unsure about your company's registration status, or have problems accessing the tender on the portal, please contact In-Tend Portals support at: https://in-tend.co.uk/contact-us/ If you have any difficulties with the In-Tend Portal that you are unable to resolve through the Sell2UK helpdesk, please email [email protected]. UK2 PME was previously completed via a separate exercise - https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/072670-2025
