2627-0284 Specialist Adaptations including Installations and Repairs for Residents with Vulnerabilities and Disabilities

The council seeks to procure two (2) contractors to deliver specialist adaptations including installations and repairs for residents with vulnerabilities and disabilities. These new contracts will be for a period of up to forty-eight (48) months (four (4) years). The council is a landlord to around 35,000 council tenants living in homes located across the borough. Within these homes, council tenants or household members may have disabilities that require their home to have adaptions carried out to enable and maintain independent living or allow carers to provide caring duties within the home. In addition, specialist adaptations and repairs are carried out to existing installations where required. The Occupational Therapy Team within the Health and Social Care Directorate assess residents’ needs and make recommendations for any adaptations following referrals to their team. These recommendations are then submitted to the Adaptations Team within the Repairs service, who will attend the property to survey how the recommended adaptations can be implemented. Following the survey a specialist scale drawing is made of the adaptations required and is allocated to the contractor to carry out the works.

CEFAS26-120 Statutory shellfish E.coli monitoring service for Shetland and Orkney

Purpose of this engagement: Cefas is undertaking market engagement to inform a future procurement for delivery of statutory microbiological monitoring services on behalf of Food Standards Scotland (FSS). This notice is not a call for competition or a commitment to procure. Its purpose is to help potential suppliers understand the anticipated requirement, test the deliverability of the proposed service model and provide an opportunity to raise technical, logistical, commercial and implementation questions before any formal procurement is launched. Background: FSS operates an official control programme to monitor faecal contamination in live bivalve molluscs and support the classification of shellfish harvesting areas, for which Cefas coordinates aspects of programme delivery. The anticipated contract will principally cover existing classified production areas and new areas seeking classification in Shetland and Orkney. Current planning assumptions indicate approximately 52 shellfish samples per month, or 624 per year, but volumes and locations may change in response to regulatory requirements, classification decisions, incidents, seasonal activity or changes in the monitoring plan. The geographical scope of the work may be expanded to other Scottish areas. Market feedback sought: Cefas will hold two online market-engagement sessions for potential applicants. During each session, Cefas will provide an overview of the service, including the logistics, sample-management, analytical and reporting requirements, and will respond to comments and questions raised by suppliers. The sessions are intended to help suppliers understand the proposed requirement and identify any practical issues, risks or points requiring clarification before a formal procurement is launched. The sessions will also provide Cefas with an opportunity to review any potential changes required to the scope of the work or intended contractual details. The sessions will take place on 15/10/26 at 15:00 and 19/10/26 at 10:00 via MS Teams. Interested organisations should register on Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cefas-market-engagement-statutory-shellfish-ecoli-monitoring-service-tickets-2002621752571 no later than 2 days prior to the events. Organisations may submit questions in advance to [email protected] Participation in either session will not confer any advantage in a subsequent procurement, and non-participation will not prevent an organisation from taking part in any future competition. A summary of the questions and responses will be made available as part of the procurement process. Details of service required: The requirement is for an integrated end-to-end service including laboratory analysis, as well as coordinating the logistics needed to move samples from remote island locations to its laboratory in a condition and timeframe suitable for official control testing. Sample collection itself will be undertaken under separate arrangements, but the supplier must work closely with sampling contractors and any FSS-approved industry collectors. • Logistics and sample management: establish reliable delivery arrangements from Shetland and Orkney; pay transport costs; provide and replenish approved packing and transport equipment; coordinate with sample collectors; monitor weekly schedules; support correct packaging and documentation; receive samples Monday to Friday, including early or late deliveries where necessary; and maintain contingency arrangements for disruption. Samples must reach the laboratory in time for analysis to begin within 48 hours of collection and sample temperature must remain within 1-10°C before start of analysis. • Laboratory analysis: receive, identify, assess and log samples; check submission information and resolve discrepancies; reject unsuitable samples in accordance with agreed criteria; analyse all programme samples using one approved UK National Reference Laboratory method for enumeration of Escherichia coli in biv…

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for St Catherine’s CofE Primary School. The annual contract value is approximately £78,000. The initial contract term will be three years, commencing on 1 February 2027 and concluding on 31 January 2030. The contract will operate on a guaranteed performance basis, with the successful Supplier providing a fixed annual contract price. There will be an option to extend the contract for a further period of up to three years by mutual agreement. St Catherine's CofE (VC) Primary School is located in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. It is a Church of England voluntary controlled primary school for pupils aged 4–11, with approximately 414 pupils currently on roll, a capacity of 420 pupils, and is supported by a dedicated team of teaching and support staff. St. Catherine’s is truly a special school. They nurture every aspect of child development, promoting high academic standards while fostering social and emotional skills—truly embodying their commitment as a ‘Heartsmart’ school. Strong relationships are vital for their success, and they pride themselves on the positive connections they build within they school community. The existing structure comprises all six cleaners working in the evening with cleaning completed 15.15pm - 18.30pm. The current service operates for 39 weeks of standard cleaning per annum, supplemented by 51 hours of periodic cleaning spread across the year. There is currently no daytime cleaning provision. Whilst the monthly contract payment will represent one-twelfth of the annual contract value, a monthly reconciliation process will be undertaken to verify actual hours worked against those budgeted within the contract. Where actual hours delivered are lower than those budgeted, the Supplier will be required to provide a credit to the school. This credit will be calculated by dividing the annual contract value by the annual contracted hours to establish a contractual hourly rate, which will then be multiplied by the shortfall in hours delivered. The school is seeking a suitably experienced Supplier with a proven track record of delivering cleaning services within the primary school sector. Preference will be given to Suppliers with a strong operational presence within the West Midlands, enabling the provision of responsive contract support, operational resilience and service flexibility throughout the contract term. Station Advertising

The requirement is for a Concessionaire to maintain, manage, operate and exploit advertising space at stations within the scope of the concession contract. The scope of the concession opportunity is described in this tender notice and the associated tender documents. It is intended to include advertising space at stations operated by Network Rail and participating Department for Transport Operator (DFTO) train operating companies, recognising that these organisations are expected to transition into Great British Railways (GBR) or a successor structure. Some advertising space will be included from concession contract commencement, with additional advertising space expected to be incorporated during the contract term. The exact timing, volume and sequencing of all additional advertising opportunities is not yet known. The concession contract will therefore include mechanisms to allow further advertising space, including at Network Rail, participating DFTO train operated stations and/or assets that transfer into GBR or any successor organisation, to be incorporated during the life of the contract where appropriate. Network Rail Infrastructure Limited is the Contracting Authority for this Procurement and is conducting the Procurement on its own behalf, Department for Transport Operator Limited (DFTO) Train Operating Companies (TOCS) and on behalf of future DFTO train operating companies (TOCS) to be transferred. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to novate, transfer, amend or otherwise manage the resulting contract to reflect future rail industry reform, including the establishment of Great British Railways (GBR), the transfer of relevant Network Rail and DFTO TOC functions or assets into GBR, or any successor organisation. The estimated value of this concession is based on forecast advertising revenues over the contract term. Due to factors including advertising demand, occupancy levels, future asset onboarding and market conditions, actual revenues may vary. Network Rail estimates that the total concession value is likely to fall within the range of £1.9 billion to £2.2 billion over the contract term.
