The current catering contract expires on 31 July 2027. Rather than repeat what has gone before, Capital City College (CCC) wants to use the time available to design a contract that reflects how the market has moved, what students now expect, and what a London estate of this size and profile could realistically deliver. That includes the commercial side: CCC is actively interested in models that generate a financial return to the College alongside a high quality, affordable offer for students. This is a preliminary market engagement exercise conducted in accordance with sections 16 and 17 of the Procurement Act 2023 (“PA23”) to obtain honest, commercially informed feedback to support a future tender process. Please see the brief for further infirmation available for download from https://www.in-tendhost.co.uk/educationportal/aspx/Home

The Department for Work and Pensions introduced the Crisis and Resilience Fund from 1 April 2026. The Fund provides local authorities with funding to support households experiencing financial hardship or an unexpected financial shock and to help residents build longer-term financial resilience. Southwark Council is developing a hub-and-spoke model to support the delivery of the Resilience Services and Community Coordination elements of the Fund. The Council is considering commissioning a Hub Delivery Organisation (HDO) to provide a central and accessible route into financial-resilience support for Southwark residents. The Council will retain responsibility for administering Council-managed crisis and housing-related payments, determining eligibility, making formal decisions on applications for financial assistance and submitting formal management-information returns to the Department for Work and Pensions. Further information about the emerging HDO service model, the areas being considered, local delivery and accessibility, case management, reporting, and the indicative contract value and duration is set out in the accompanying Draft Service Specification. The final scope and delivery model have not been determined. Therefore, the Council is carry out a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) where respondents are invited to use the information provided via the portal, see engagement process description further down in this notice. Respondents are requested to use both documents when completing the questionnaire and should clearly state any assumptions made in their responses.
Sheffield City Council would like to invite providers to an Extra Care Housing Market Engagement Event on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, at: Conference Rooms LG42 Sheffield Town Hall Pinstone Street Sheffield S1 2HH. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), working in partnership with Westminster City Council (WCC), is undertaking a market engagement exercise to gather information regarding premises that may be suitable for the delivery of the proposed Adult Social Care Mental Health Day Opportunities model. The proposed service model is expected to commence during Spring/Summer 2027 and is currently being developed following earlier market engagement activity. The model is anticipated to comprise three locality-based hubs across the borough: (i)North Hub (ii)South Hub (iii)Cultural Hub (located in the north of the borough) These hubs will provide accommodation to support staff delivery, key working, care coordination, group activities and service user engagement. The service model will also utilise community assets across the borough, including community venues, libraries, green spaces and other suitable facilities to support flexible delivery within local neighbourhoods. Through this engagement, the Council wishes to better understand: (i)The availability of suitable premises within the borough. (ii)Capacity, accessibility and physical characteristics of available spaces. (iii)Potential leasing, licensing or partnership arrangements. (iv)Opportunities to support community-based mental health day opportunities from existing assets. (v)Indicative costs, constraints and considerations relating to premises provision. Interested organisations, landlords, community organisations, faith groups, charities, social enterprises, property managers and other relevant stakeholders are invited to complete a short questionnaire. Information gathered will be used to inform future service design, commissioning and procurement planning. Participation in this engagement exercise will not confer any advantage or disadvantage in any future procurement process, nor does it constitute a call for competition. The Council reserves the right to amend its requirements and procurement strategy following completion of this engagement activity.

Bridgend County Borough Council are looking to recommission its General Supported Living services which will include care and support funded by both Adult Social Care and the Housing Support Grant. The Council intends to recommission the 7 Lots under this contract where support is provided to individuals living in General Supported Living services across the Bridgend County Borough. These services will be provided by high-quality Providers who can demonstrate their experience of delivering supported living services. These 7 Lots will be awarded as separate Contracts. Providers will be required to work with the Council to implement sustainable and flexible models of support that enable Individuals to become active members of their local communities. Delivering a ‘locality’ model will continue to enable Providers to flexibly respond to the needs of the individuals they support as and where they arise, utilise resources efficiently, and support collaborative working with the broader community. The service must be available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year in line with the assessed needs of Individuals. The procurement process will be conducted in a single stage. Prospective providers will be able to bid for as many of the lots as they wish, however the Council will be looking to secure a mixed market where each provider will be limited to being awarded a maximum of two Lot areas. Each Lot’s requirements will be different and so suits a range of Providers. Benchmark data indicates that the service in current schemes totals 8979 hours of support per week delivered to 89 Individuals living in 34 housing units. Please note this is for information purposes only and further Local Area Service details will be provided to the successful providers following the conclusion and award of the Lot contracts. The contract agreement duration will be for an initial 4 years with additional, discretional contract extension periods for an addition up to a further 4 years. It will remain the council’s decision as to if and how any contract extension is implemented.
The Council is looking to establish an Alternative Education Provision Framework to support the commissioning and placement of children and young people requiring educational provision outside of mainstream settings.
