Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) and Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB), collectively the South West Wales region (the Region), seek to appoint service providers to undertake Integrated Pest Management services across the respective health boards’ sites. The contract will support a diverse estate portfolio, including acute hospitals, community hospitals, mental health units, community clinics, kitchens, waste compounds, external grounds, plant rooms, and other high risk or specialist areas. Preventative and reactive cover will be required, with sites classified based on risk. Carmarthenshire Sites: Approx 31 locations Pembrokeshire Sites: Approx 21 locations Ceredigion Sites: Approx 18 locations Swansea Sites: Approx 20 locations Neath Port Talbot Sites: Approx 11 locations The project is being led by both Health Boards, with HDUHB leading on the procurement process. Pre-Market Engagement (PME) will include two elements: 1. PME Questionnaire – to understand market interest and capacity, including testing appetite for lotting structure, and understanding any barriers that may prevent SMEs or local suppliers from participating in the procurement. The questionnaire will inform the procurement, including how NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) can reduce barriers by welcoming suggestions regarding lotting, insurance, accreditation and contract requirements. The questionnaire is for market engagement purposes only and will not be used to assess, score, pre-qualify or exclude suppliers from this or any future procurement process. 2. PME Event – a virtual event where interested bidders can attend to learn more about the opportunity, including the anticipated procurement timetable and opportunities for suppliers to seek clarification ahead of tender publication. Your input would be very much appreciated to help inform the future direction and service model for integrated pest management in the Region. Estimated value is per annum. Contract duration is to be confirmed. This exercise does not commit either Health Board to undertake any future procurement. Participation in this exercise is entirely voluntary and will not provide any advantage or disadvantage in any subsequent procurement process.

West Yorkshire has a strong manufacturing economy worth £7.7 billion and employing around 110,000 people. The region is home to nearly 6,000 manufacturing SMEs which play a crucial role within local, national and international supply chains. However, there is currently a gap in dedicated supply chain support, with many SMEs facing challenges around supply chain fragmentation, procurement readiness, diversification, access to new markets and engagement with larger organisations. These challenges can limit business growth, competitiveness and resilience. The Combined Authority is seeking to procure an experienced delivery partner to design and deliver a comprehensive supply chain support programme across West Yorkshire. The programme will support manufacturing SMEs to strengthen supply chain capability, diversify into high-growth sectors including defence and energy security, improve procurement readiness, secure relevant accreditations, adopt new technologies and access opportunities with OEMs, Primes and larger organisations. The programme will also facilitate engagement activities, networking opportunities, workshops, masterclasses and business support interventions that help businesses secure new contracts and grow within regional, national and international supply chains. Please note that this PPN is for prior information only, to inform potential suppliers of an upcoming opportunity and an engagement event for those interested in bidding. A pre-market engagement event will be held via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 from 13:00 – 14:00. Please see the UK2: Preliminary market engagement notice for more information.
Shropshire Council is undertaking Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) to understand the current market for digital solutions that support unpaid carers. This engagement will help inform the Council’s future commissioning approach before any decision is made about whether to tender, use an existing compliant route, develop an alternative model, or take no further procurement action. Shropshire Council has an established Unpaid Carer Support offer. Recently this has become an all-age offer supporting Young Carers and Parent Carers. The Unpaid Carers portal will be an online offer which will be available to Unpaid Carers 24/7 throughout the journey of their caring role. We are aware there are a large proportion of people who do not identify as an Unpaid Carer, we envisage the portal will support with that identification and will provide relevant up to date information to support families in a preventative manner. Any proposed solution should offer the following support: Increase the identification recognition and early interventions for unpaid Carers Delay and reduce the need to access high-cost statutory provision Improve accessibility to information, advice and guidance, improve links and signposting to services that are already available nationally, regionally and locally. Support Unpaid Carers to access self-help and self-management support to reduce the need for Unpaid Carers crisis interventions. Include access to Unpaid Carers 'self-assessment' focused on individualised outcomes The solution should have the capacity to collect and produce relative data regarding demographics, ethnicity, age range as well as information such as when and where the portal is accessed.
Improving health outcomes through vaccines is a priority for the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). We aim to use UKHSA's capabilities across the full vaccine pathway to facilitate innovation and support the development and deployment of safe and effective vaccines, ensure the reliable and timely procurement, storage and distribution of vaccines, and drive increased uptake among the population to reduce the burden of infectious disease. UKHSA published a Vaccine Prospectus in August 2026, which sets out the work that UKHSA and the wider health family do to sustain and grow the UK's world-leading role in immunisation. It details the scope of our programmes, our policy objectives, how we work with industry, and forthcoming opportunities to work with us. The Sir John Brunner Foundation Multi-Academy Trust (Cheshire) is undertaking pre-market engagement in relation to a proposed procurement for the management of community lettings and facilities hire across part of its estate. The initial scope is expected to include Middlewich High School and Sir John Deane's Sixth Form College, with the possibility of future extension to other Trust sites, subject to suitability, value for money and operational requirements. The Trust's wider estate includes The County High School, Leftwich and (from November) primary academies in the Northwich area. The Trust is seeking to understand the market for managed lettings services and to inform the development of its final specification, procurement route and commercial model. The proposed requirement is expected to involve the management, marketing, booking, administration and operational delivery of lettings and community use of school and college facilities outside core educational hours. The Trust's objectives are to: increase utilisation of facilities outside normal school and college hours; improve and expand access for local clubs, voluntary organisations and community groups; support sustainable community use, particularly for local and regular users; ensure safeguarding, site security, supervision and operational control during lettings activity; reduce the administrative and operational burden on academy staff; protect the condition, readiness and availability of facilities for core educational use; increase income through improved utilisation and broader use of facilities, rather than relying solely on price increases; and establish a professional, compliant and scalable lettings model capable of operating across multiple academy sites where appropriate. The facilities potentially within scope include, but are not limited to, indoor sports halls, outdoor pitches, all-weather/3G or astro facilities, playing fields, performance and assembly spaces, classrooms, specialist teaching areas, changing rooms, car parking and ancillary facilities. The final list of facilities will be confirmed following engagement with the market. The Trust is particularly interested in engaging with providers able to deliver one or more of the following models: a fully managed lettings service, including marketing, bookings, customer management, income collection, staffing, supervision, safeguarding, compliance and reporting; a managed bookings and staffing model, including provider-led marketing, customer management and revenue administration, with operational delivery agreed between the provider and the Trust; and/or advice on appropriate commercial structures, including revenue share, guaranteed income, management fee or hybrid models. At this stage, the Trust does not intend to pursue a software-only booking platform as the primary solution, as the requirement includes a need for operational delivery, staffing and site supervision, particularly at Middlewich High School. However, the Trust welcomes feedback on systems and technology used to support managed lettings services. The Trust anticipates that any future contract would require the successful provider to demonstrate robust arrangements for: on-site staffing and supervision; safeguarding, site security and incident escalation; access control, opening, closing and site handover; cleaning, facility reset and reporting of damage or defects; customer service and complaints management; protection and transition of existing community users where possible; pricing strategy and affordability for local community users; financial reporting, reconciliation, VAT information and income remittance; performance reporting and attendance at formal contract review meetings; and orderly exit and transfer of booking/customer data at the end of the arrangement. The Trust is considering a phased implementation approach, with Sir John Deane's Sixth Form College and non-pitch lettings at Middlewich High School potentially comm…

Organisations are invited to take part in the pre maket engagement seek input from market participants to inform and help Ofcom inform our procurement strategy for our employee voice programme. Ofcom currently relies on an annual colleague survey as the primary means of gathering measurable feedback on employee experience. This model does not provide sufficiently timely or agile insight into emerging colleague experience, culture, engagement and organisational challenges. As a result, there is a risk that feedback is gathered too infrequently to support timely action and evidence-based decision making. The opportunity is to explore how to procure a pulse survey tool that enables shorter, more frequent colleague surveys, as well as the ability to run multiple surveys in parallel across different populations and topics. This would support a more agile employee listening model, provide quicker insight into priority issues, and strengthen the link between colleague feedback and visible action.
